Youth Weekend at a glance

Important scheduling information

Late games

U16 and U19 teams must be prepared for late-evening games, with the last game starting as late as 10:15 p.m.

Local teams

Local teams may be asked to play a Thursday evening game.

Early starts

All teams should be prepared for early morning games, starting as early as 7:00 a.m.

Championship Sunday

U16AA and U19A championship games can start as late as 6:00 p.m.

Divisions & age groups

Final divisions and levels offered may vary based on the number of registered teams. Up-to-date tournament information and key dates will be posted on the website.

U10 (FUN3)

Players born in 2017 and younger · Mixed Division.

U12B & U12A

Players born in 2015 and 2016 · Female Division.

U14AA & U14A

Players born in 2013 and 2014 · Female Division.

U16AA & U16A

Players born in 2011 and 2012 · Female Division.

U19A

Players born in 2008, 2009, or 2010 · Female Division.

Player guidelines

U14A, U16A, and U19A teams may roster a maximum of four current AA players. Rostered university players are not eligible for U19A. Quebec U14A teams must register for the U14AA division.

Conditional acceptance & payment deadlines

Conditional acceptance emails: Sent by November 15, 2026
Deposit deadline: $500 due within 48 hours of registration
Balance deadline: $1,494.46 due February 1, 2027
Roster and team name deadline: March 15, 2027
Insurance certificate deadline: April 1, 2027

Teams registered may not be accepted based on division requirements and number of registrations. The $500 deposit is non-refundable if your team cancels, but fully refundable if your team is not accepted. Final acceptance depends on receipt of the balance and final acceptance email.

Payment & insurance

All payments must be made by Interac e-Transfer to [email protected]. No password is required. Credit card payments are not accepted. All teams must carry individual team insurance and upload proof of insurance (COI) to their CRC Stats team account by April 1, 2027. Teams needing coverage can visit iplayhockey.ca; coverage is approximately $15–$20 per player.

Roster, refund & acceptance information

Rosters & team information

Rosters with current levels of play and team names must be entered online by March 15, 2027. The tournament reserves the right to verify player levels and competitive divisions. Teams may be removed if player guidelines are not met.

Conditional acceptance

Final acceptance depends on receipt of the balance by February 1, 2027 and the final acceptance email.

Refund policy

The tournament deposit and full registration fee are refundable only if the tournament or your division does not run, or if your team is not accepted.
